It’s Raining, It’s Pouring…

Afternoon everyone,

Wow is it raining here today!  Absolutely pouring it down but I love being tucked up inside in weather like this as it gives me time to catch up with myself.

I was intrigued to see the fabulous Craftwork Cards recently have a design team call and I ‘ummm-ed’ and ‘ahhh-ed’ over whether to apply or not.  I absolutely love their products, their papers are seriously top quality and the illustrations just perfect overtime.  In the end, I decided I just didn’t have enough time and I wouldn’t want to let them down in any way and I don’t enjoy creating under pressure as that’s when it all goes a bit wonky and wrong in my experience.

However, it did re-ignite my passion for their old papers so I dragged them out, dusted them off and made some cards that are ready waiting for friends birthdays.

The gorgeous ‘Flying High’ range is still one of my favourites…

‘Love a Cuppa’ with it’s beautiful illustrations is perfect for just a ‘hello’!

A simple and quick make using ‘Time Flies’

‘Time Flies’ again but this time with a bright pink accent colour

A splash of gold spritzing ink and some adhesive gems bring a little sumptuousness to this easy make

I was peaking at the Craftwork Cards website earlier and notice there’s a few pads that have escaped my collection!  How did that happen?  I have to get ‘Take It Easy’ and I love the orange and blue colours together and the papers would be great for male makes… ooh!  What with Father’s Day upon us once more, I might have to sneak it in the basket!

Until next time, take care all.

I got a free die with a magazine ages ago, a rolled flower one, used it so much, but it seems to have found its way into the bin.
Hubby doesn’t know how often I’ve accidentally bought the same things because I’ve forgotten I’ve got them. Apparently I’ve got good taste, though! x
