Monster Mail!

Spooky and ghostly woooah’s to you all…

It’s blog hop time again and despite being stupidly overwhelmed by ‘stuff’ at the moment, I was determined to join in this one… I didn’t even let the fact I had no spooky or goulash papers hold me back!  That’s what is so great about the docrafts club.  Squillons of downloadable papers for every conceivable occasion… including Halloween!

Today’s blog hop theme is Monster Mail (as we all love to get something special in the post!) Cards or makes could be Halloween themed or something Autumnal if you’d prefer.

Clearly, I’ve gone for the Halloween theme using the aforementioned docrafts download papers.

I’ve spritzed the papers with both Artiste Spritzing Inks in Gold and Aubergine and also in Tim Holt’s Distress Sprays in Spiced Marmalade and Walnut Stain, the edges have been scuffed and inked using a Vintage Photo Ink pad from Tim too.

I’ve criss-crossed the twine to add a different texture interest to the card.

What a cheeky black cat, just wandering over the card!

A super quick card to make but I’m pretty pleased with the results.  Now… who do I send it to!?

Oh, talking of Halloween… check out what my girls have done to their pumpkins this year! Middle Pickle has gone for a Disney themed ‘Tinkerbell’ effect as she is a tad obsessed with anything Disney whereas little Pickle dripped wax crayons over hers and the result is just fabulous!!

I think they both look rather spook-ocular! Mwah-ha-ha!!

Anyway, back to the hop… here’s the other lovely ladies taking part and their fabulous blogs.  Do pop in and see what they’ve been up to as we all have such different styles: Emily, Katie, Sarah, Julie, Mags and Michelle.

Thank you for reading… catch up soon.

Heather xx
