Hello everyone and a happy ⌗docraftsmonday to you!
I’ve had some lovely crafting time this week but I can’t share it all just yet so you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled for some new makes coming soon, however, I did find some time to play with the lovely Botanicals range for this weeks ⌗docraftsmonday over on Facebook.
The card, an 8×8″, uses the beautiful yellow rose decoupage and the little bird from the Botanicals decoupage pack which I’ve surrounded with little buds infilled with adhesive pearls. Both the butterfly and the bird have been painted in Anita’s Clear Gloss to add some sheen.
The strip of ribbon has been pleated and sewn on a machine and overlaid with the olive green adhesive lace from the Botanicals range.
I’ve got some 2″ hessian in various colours that I bought from ‘Every Crafts a Pound’ (a bargain site and ideal for little bits and bobs!) so I’ve used that to add texture and secured it over some Madame Payraud vellum which has bees and insects on. The Madame Payraud Metal Charm has a rose inlaid into it, covered with the clear gloss as before and adhesive pearls added round the edges. I love these charms as they are perfect for vintage looking projects.
Hop on over to Facebook for more fabulous ⌗docraftsmonday projects from the design team and docrafts followers. Why not upload one of your makes… you don’t have to use docrafts products to take part!
Have a lovely week everyone… I’m off to make a swiss roll! x
