Ahhhh… an afternoon post? It must be half term!? It surely is but what miserable weather we’re all having. This wasn’t how I planned it but hey-ho. It’s not stopping me crafting and catching up with the chores so all good here.
I wanted to share with you some cards I made for Papercrafter Magazine for this months issue (71). I was asked to make 3 cards using their fabulous kit that comes free with this issue. It’s a great kit and you get so much! I really enjoyed crafting with this and the magazine is full of ideas and inspiration on how to get the most from the kit, from table display ideas to cute tree decorations perfect for summer bbq’s.
‘Bright Birdie’ is looks magnificent perched aloft on his branch and the bright colours are perfect for this sunny (or not!) time of year.
‘Rosy Rosette’ uses the papers and butterfly embellishment as the centrepiece and the (almost) fluroscent coloured dotty background really emphasises the fun nature of this make.
Lastly we have ‘Happy Gardening’. Here I have cut up, inked, embellished, and layered all the different gardening elements from the kit into this one busy card… perfect for a busy gardener for Father’s Day maybe?!
And here they are all in the magazine itself!
Papercrafter this month also has their Cardmaker of the Year competition where you can win yourself a truly fabulous ScanNCut machine from Brother. A serious bit of kit for any crafter. I can thoroughly recommend the ScanNCut as I’ve been lucky enough to have a play on my crafty friend’s (Thank you Clare!) and I really want one now!!
Anyway… catch up soon crafters! x
